PT Eagle Protect Security ("we", "us", or "our") provides the Eagle Protect employee and guard mobile application and related services (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to users.

By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be collected and used as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account and identity information

When you use the App, we may collect information associated with your employee or user account, such as:

  • employee ID or account ID
  • phone number or email address, if applicable
  • authentication-related information needed to sign in and secure your account

b. Attendance and shift information

We collect information needed to support guard operations and attendance workflows, including:

  • assigned shifts
  • attendance records
  • check-in and check-out events
  • timestamps associated with attendance and shift activity
  • site or assignment information

c. Location information

The App may collect precise location information from your device, including latitude and longitude, for operational features such as:

  • attendance recording
  • check-in and check-out validation
  • location sharing in chat, when initiated by the user
  • shift monitoring, geofence monitoring, and related alerting

Depending on feature configuration, location information may be collected when the App is in use and, for some shift-monitoring features, while background location functionality is active.

d. Chat and communication data

If you use in-app messaging features, we may collect:

  • message content
  • attached photos or videos
  • shared location messages
  • metadata needed to send, receive, and display messages

e. Device and technical information

We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the App, such as:

  • device type
  • operating system version
  • app version
  • push notification token
  • log or diagnostic information related to service reliability, security, or troubleshooting

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • authenticate users and maintain account security
  • assign, display, and manage guard shifts
  • record attendance and check-in/check-out activity
  • confirm presence at assigned locations
  • support geofence and location-monitoring features used for guard operations
  • enable chat, media sharing, and operational communication
  • send notifications related to schedules, assignments, alerts, or app activity
  • detect, prevent, and investigate misuse, fraud, security issues, or policy violations
  • maintain and improve the App, backend services, and operational reliability
  • comply with legal obligations and internal audit requirements

3. When We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers that help us operate the App and related infrastructure, such as hosting, storage, messaging, or notification providers
  • With affiliated entities or internal personnel who need access for operational, administrative, or security purposes
  • With customers or authorized supervisors, when necessary to support workforce management, attendance, incident review, or contract operations
  • If required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request
  • To protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of our users, services, company, or the public
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal obligations

4. Location Data and Workforce Monitoring

Because the App is designed to support guard and employee operations, location information may be used to verify attendance, support shift compliance, confirm presence within a designated site area, and generate alerts when location-related requirements are not met.

If location permissions are denied, disabled, or restricted, some App features may not function correctly, including attendance, check-in, geofence-based monitoring, and location sharing.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, operate security and workforce functions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain appropriate business records.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, contractual requirements, operational needs, and applicable law.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

You may also be able to:

  • control certain device permissions, including location, camera, and photo library access
  • stop using location-based features by disabling permissions, although this may limit App functionality
  • contact us to request assistance regarding your personal information

8. International Transfers

If you access the App from a jurisdiction different from where our systems or service providers operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries.
